Where the data comes from
FMCSA publishes its insurance, carrier and census files on data.transportation.gov every morning. BMC Radar joins them by DOT and docket number, checks each cancellation against every other filing on the carrier's docket, and adds active carriers that FMCSA's Motus open data leaves out, from its frozen May 14, 2026 records checked against the daily census.
